This thriller is a remake of the Hong Kong spine-tingler of the same name.

A young English colonial is sent to the jungles of the Sarawak during the 1930s. Inside this steamy jungle, the officer meets up with a beautiful native who’s assigned to teach him the native language. Their tutoring sessions evolve into a passionate bonding of forbidden love, but before long, their romance is torn apart by war, as the British troops and the tutor’s tribe become enmeshed in battle.

  1. Jessica Alba is okay, she’s a great artist. I’ve seen some of her movies, and she’s actually awesome. I just don’t see her as a woman portraying a role just like Diane Kruger’s role in Troy. Although for sure she’ll do perfect in romatic comedies.
