I absolutely loved this film more than the first film, An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving. I don’t know if it was because of the conflict between the characters or that it took place in Ireland. I felt the writing was better and the acting. This series is based on of Louisa May Alcott’s short story, although, Louisa didn’t write a sequel to An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving. This film is the sequel and I loved it. It definitely has a Jane Austenique to it, albeit Louisa May Alcott writes very similar to Austen.
