Uptight Marketing Exec Neal Page is trying to get home in time for Thanksgiving and at every turn something obstructs his path. Teaming up with an annoying, quirky salesman, Del Griffith causes Page to relax and make the most of their situation.

The team of Steve Martin and John Candy is golden. They’re playing off each other was amazeballs especially with the script from John Hughes, who, I think was one of the best writers and directors in Hollywood. I think this would’ve had a wonderful sequel if we hadn’t lost the two men who made this film what it is. It’s all around funny and entertaining at every turn. Well, worth a watch.
