Fright Night (1985)

Rated R

Teenager Charley Brewster discovers that his new neighbor is a vampire. Nobody believes Charley so he turns to a has been actor for help but finds out that the vampire is after Charley’s girlfriend.

Although, I would consider this a good film, I wouldn’t call it great. The makeup was what got me the most. It looked awful and cheap. I know this was the 80s and they didn’t have the advancements in makeup as they do now and they, the moviemakers, probably didn’t have the money either. The story was good, a typical teen fright film.
