I’ve never been able to understand what the intrigue about this film that makes it so popular. Sure, the stop-motion animation is perfect and the story is interesting but the best?  I don’t see it. Sure, the music is catchy and the animation is imaginative. All that makes me appreciative of the film but enjoyable, no.
