A business tycoon has marriage on his mind. His girlfriend is a modern girl with little affection and when he travels to Bukistan he finds the women schooled in the arts of pleasing men. While there he falls for the princess Tarji and decides to propose marriage. Once in the States, his engagement becomes an international diplomacy with his ex-girlfriend as a buffer. This film isn’t a top ten film but Cary Grant was his usual debonair self. There was little or no chemistry between him and his two female cohorts (Deborah Kerr and Betta St. John). This is a common film with a common plot. It’s quaint but not memorable. Only see it if you are a Cary Grant fan.
