The Invention of Lying (2009)

Rated PG-13

In a world where no one lies and everyone tells the truth. Ricky Gervais plays a character where he learns that lying could get you everything you want or maybe not. Starring Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Jonah Hill, Louis C.K., Jeffrey Tambor, Fionnula Flanagan, Rob Lowe, Tina Fey, Jason Bateman, Christopher Guest, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Edward Norton

I am a fan of Ricky Gervais but I think this was one fell short. Ricky was his funny self but I felt that the jokes and even the storyline was too forced. The title is the invention of lying but it seemed that the film was to say what I am thinking not so much the truth. The premise of the film was solid but lack execution.
