This spin-off of Once Upon a Time, which I love, doesn’t hold up a candle to OUAT. To me, they announced that this is a spin-off, which I thought would be an extension to OUAT. It’s not. The same characters that they use in OUAT are portrayed by different actors. The story of Alice in Storybrooke is different from the story they are telling in Wonderland. It’s like it’s a completely different show. One which I wasn’t expecting. I don’t think I will continue to watch but if you haven’t watched Once Upon a Time, you can watch this show and not miss anything.
Our story begins as many tales of imagination begin . . . . “Once Upon a Time” . . . . only this time it is, “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland”. Yes, Wonderland a land filled with marvelous and fantastic places and characters, teeming with adventure and mystery, a land where a beautiful young girl once went . . . . but no one would believe her tale. In fact they tried to say she was a bit insane, troubled, lost in her imagination.
I happen to like this one better than OUAT- I am not sure how to explain that it is similar but different- holding my attention more. However, the recent discovery on who Pan is helped rejuvenate OUAT for me.
