This is a very artistic film about life. With each scene there is beauty but I don’t know if the beauty would translate to the average movie goer. I understood the complexity of Jep and his change of perceptions. Even through, the artistic side of the film takes over the story side. I think this is a beautiful story but I also think that most people would be bored by the visual style that over powers the film as Jep comes in terms with his life. In fact, the style almost loses the story. This is great story that is definitely style over substance.
