Odd Thomas (2013) Rated PG-13

Odd ThomasA young man with telepathic abilities tries to stop a tragedy from happening. Based on the book by Dean R Koontz. Starring Anton Yelchin, Ashley Sommers, Leonor Varela, Willem Dafoe

I have always thought Dean Koontz’s books would work well as a film. This was no exception, although this was one of the easier book to adapt to film. Anton Yelchin was perfect for the role of Odd Thomas. I wouldn’t say this is a film that would win an Oscar but it was enjoyable to watch. I definitely think that teenagers would really appreciate this film for what it was a supernatural thriller with a touch of romance. I’m hoping for more Koontz films to come.
