Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger (2012) Rated NR

Nativity2The sequel to Nativity. A new teacher to St. Bernadette’s School takes on the class left by Mr. Maddens. Where he is tricked by the teaching assistant to take the children to Wales for the National ‘Song for Christmas’ Competition . Starring David Tennant, Marc Wootton, Jason Watkins

Again this film was done on an improvised script and the actors were not told of the plot until it unfolded. Most of the actors came back. This film was released as a Children in Need film in the UK. As in most sequels this film isn’t as funny as the first and this film definitely has its cringe worthy moments. Especially with the kids. Knowing that no animal or children were harmed in the making of this movie. It still had its moments of over the top antics and David Tennant did great at playing the twins. As the original wasn’t award worthy this one lacks farther. This films are interesting and I believe that there is going to a third in the series. It will be interesting to see the next one.
