Law Abiding Citizen (2009) Rated R

law abiding citizenA frustrated man goes after the legal system involved in his case after the criminals  are set free. Starring Jamie Foxx, Gerard Butler, Colm Meaney, Regina Hall

Even with all the twist and turns of this film, which was intriguing by the way, I couldn’t get into it. I got stuck on the opening scene, where the crime was committed. I couldn’t get over why the criminals chose this family to target. I know it doesn’t mean much for the rest of the film, but throughout the movie, I keep thinking why did they chose him. Was it really random or not? Clyde, the victim, was a well-rounded character, I understood him, even when I disagreed with him. That too, made the film predictable because I knew Clyde enough to know this isn’t going to end well. Is this film worth it? Not really, I would miss this movie.
