Noah (2014) Rated PG-13

NoahA man chosen by the creator to wipe the human race clean. Starring Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, Nick Nolte

Well, um, this is a non biblical film. Darren Aronofsky made a loving and interacting God into a God that is mysterious or distant. They twisted Noah’s story to something that is untrue. The filmmakers made Noah’s world what it wasn’t. Yes, there was evil but it wasn’t desolate or futuristic. There were no angels involved in Noah’s story. If I watched this film in a theater I would’ve walked out. They took the Biblical story of Noah, just the name Noah, and twisted it to make their own story. They knew that if they used the name Noah, they would get Christians to the theater and make some money off of them. Darren Aronofsky  you are despicable, for not only cashing in on a fake Christian story but also for making a story that would confuse Non-christians on the biblical story. If you were planning on showcasing the environmental religion to the Christian community I think you missed the mark. This film is not worth a watch.
