Fourteen years after graduating from college, a group of friends get together for a weekend to celebrate one of them getting married. When one of them dies, old secrets, wounds and lies emerge. Starring Gabrielle Anwar, Susan Hogan, Thea Gill, John Newton
I was rather surprised by this film. It’s one of those movies where you can sit back and just enjoy the mystery as it unfolds. Joss, the main character tries to figure out what happened to her friend- whether her death was a murder, accident, or suicide- but along the way she discovers that their friends weren’t who she thought they were.
I thought every one of the actors did an amazing job. They all seemed comfortable enough with each other to be good friends, yet distant enough for not having seen each other in fourteen years. The only real detraction from the movie was Gabrielle Anwar’s (Joss) hair. I don’t know if it was a wig or her natural hair, but it was too distracting. This film is truly one of the better ones to sit down and enjoy for the evening. It’s worth a watch.
I’m putting this one on my list!
