Call Me Mrs. Miracle (2010) Rated NR

Call me mrs. miracleMrs. Miracle comes to Finley’s Department Store to spread some Christmas cheer. The department store is in financially trouble, and the owners and customers have no idea what miracles Mrs. Miracle has in store for them. (Renamed Miracle in Manhattan.) Starring Doris Roberts, Jewel Staite, Eric Johnson.

This was a nice change from the typical Hallmark Christmas fare. Although it is different from many of the romantic holiday films on the channel, it does still have a pretty predictable story line . . . until the end.  What makes this story stand out from the others is, instead of nodding to Santa Claus, the characters recognize Jesus Christ as the reason for the season. That alone makes this film worth a watch, in my opinion.
