A fractured family gets caught in an electrical storm. Starring Alaina Huffman, Krista Bridges, Daniel Magder.

Yes, it’s dangerous and scary to get caught out in an electrical storm, but to try to center a whole film around that premise is pretty lame.  Basically, a family tries to reconnect on a hiking trip, only to get attacked by a lightning storm.  If you are going to make natural disaster the big villain, you need big special effects, and this film did not deliver.  You also have to suspend rational judgment and scientific knowledge to make this movie plausible.  There was absolutely nothing terrifying about this movie, except for the money spent to make it.  This movie is a pass.
