Doctor Foster: A Woman Scorned (2015) Rated TV-MA

Doctor Foster Woman ScornedA doctor suspects her husband of having an affair, which causes her life to unravel. Starring Suranne Jones, Bertie Carvel, Tom Taylor, Thusitha Jayasundera, Martha Howe-Douglas, Shazia Nicholls, Jodie Comer, Clare-Hope Ashitey.

Wow, this series is so much more than I expected.  I thought that, as her story unfolded, things would begin to turn out, but they didn’t.  They did a great job of keeping you engaged and in suspense.  Even after I watched it, I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Dr. Foster doesn’t just want to escape the pain of the life she’s living; she wants to completely change it.  The series spirals much like her life, from the discovery of her husband’s infidelity to her own unraveling.  Very well done; this miniseries is worth a watch.
