The Fitzgerald Family Christmas (2012) Rated PG-13

Fitzgerald family christmasAdult siblings join together in preparing for the first Christmas with their father since he left the family 20 years earlier.  Starring Kerry Bishé, Edward Burns, Heather Burns, Connie Britton.

This film had several problems.  The siblings attempt to deal with their life problems and family resentments, which are many.  It made it hard to relate to the characters, since they had so many, overwhelming issues to overcome.  Instead of communicating together as a family, though, they pair off to talk about things, which keeps them from finding resolution and healing.  Nothing is really resolved by the end of the movie, which is disappointing.  For me, it is a pass.
