Mars (NatGeo) Rated TV-PG

marsThe first manned voyage to Mars in 2033 starts the colonization of the planet. Starring Jihae, Alberto Ammann, Clémentine Poidatz, Ben Cotton, Nicholas Wittman, Kata Sarbó.

This series is a combination of real National Geographic documentary and fictional drama.  I thought it would be primarily a fictional account of a manned visit to Mars, so I was thrown for a loop when both actors and actual people involved in the space program were being interviewed as though this was a real voyage.  I personally did not care for this mixture of truth and fiction; I found it hard to decipher which information to believe.  Also, their transitions back and forth between present and future were confusing, making the story hard to understand.  This show is a pass.
