Toy Story (1995) Rated G

toy-story A cowboy doll is threatened when  a new spaceman moves in. Starring Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Don Rickles, John Ratzenberger, Laurie Metcalf.

This is a wonderful film that goes far beyond toys coming to life to deal with the joys and cares of childhood.  We have all experienced the jealousy that accompanies someone new entering a friend’s life. Often, there is no threat at all, but we have to overcome our fears and insecurities to accept the situation. Both adults and children will be entertained by this film, as the toys go on an adventure that leads to friendship. We join them on an emotional roller coaster ride that helps us realize our own humanity.  This film is definitely worth a watch.
