In 19th century Baltimore, a girl grieving her parents’ deaths voluntary checks herself into a mental institute. Starring Vincent Alvas, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Argenziano, Josh Duhamel, James Franco, Eric Roberts, Tim Blake Nelson.
This is the worst film I have seen in a long time. I don’t know what the filmmakers were thinking. Supposedly, this film is based on the real events of a Baltimore mental institution in 1893. Like the Institute, the film exploits women by having them mostly nude throughout the film. There is not much of a story and certainly nothing to categorize it as a thriller. Basically, the doctors undress the women and make them do things that they are unaware of. On a scale of 1-10, this barely rates as a one. It is a pass.
