Victorian Slum House (PBS) Rated PG

A group of 15 volunteers are transported to Victorian London were they spend three weeks in a recreated Old Nichol slum on London’s East End. Starring Michael Mosley.

PBS and BBC have done it again, taking a group of modern- day people and transporting them back in time to an era that we’ve only read in history books. Here, they learn how to live and work in the slums of London during Victorian era. The British do an excellent job of transitioning these volunteers into Victorian slum life. More informational than entertaining, this show still engages us as we watch these volunteers come to terms with poverty and the lack of modern technology and personal space. The show is worth a watch.
