Epix tends to create good quality series, and this show is no exception. O’Dowd puts the shine on this series in his turn as the mobster who is trying to turn his life around but is struggling with the career change aspect. His vulnerability and humor make you care about his character and where he is heading. The supporting cast also helps to elevate the story. I think this series does a great job of bringing Elmore Leonard’s book to life. It is worth a watch.
