Hitchcock (2012) Rated PG-13

Hitchcock takes us into the life of Alfred Hitchcock and his wife,  Alma Reville, during the filming of Psycho in 1959. Based on the book, Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho by Stephen Rebello. Starring Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson,
Toni Collette, Jessica Biel, Ralph Macchio.

This film gives you an inside look at the lives of the Hitchcocks as they collaborated on the film Psycho, one of Hitchcock’s most famous films. Alma always helped Albert with his films; she was his support and his muse. I felt that they exaggerated her supportive role, though, for this film. Some parts felt forced or unrealistic. Still, this film tells a great story of a couple that worked together achieve brilliance in filmmaking. It’s worth a watch.
