Wonder (2017) Rated PG

A boy with a genetic deformity starts attending junior high where he tries to make friends. Based on the book by R.J. Palacio. Starring Jacob Tremblay, Owen Wilson, Izabela Vidovic

This film will bring you to tears. Junior high is tough for everyone, but imagine what it is like for someone with a genetic deformity. We need to teach people to be kind, and that being different is good. It’s also a story about looking past the book cover to discover what is inside everyone. There is so much more than what we see on the surface.  I wasn’t ready for the emotions that this film evoked as each person told their story of what makes them who they are. This film is worth a watch and one of the best this year.
