Doctor Rush is an on-call doctor who takes unusual cases. He’s discreet and not associated with any hospital, and his clients pay cash. He also enjoys life and doesn’t plan on changing until an old flame shows up. Starring Tom Ellis, Larenz Tate, and Sarah Habel.
This show is a cross between House and Royal Pains. In other words, there is nothing new about it. Dr. Rush is not a very interesting or sympathetic character. The stories don’t intrigue me. It’s not a bad show – it just doesn’t stand out or separate itself from the others. The actors are all fun to watch and bring their own to the characters, except that the characters aren’t that in depth. It’s a show that could grow once they get in a rhythm, but I have to say it isn’t worth a watch.
