After discovering her boyfriend is married, Carly meets his wife, and then they discover another woman. When they all find that they are involved with the same man, they plot revenge. Starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
The one thing about this film is the level of suspended disbelief it has. We have a lover, a wife, and young fling all thinking they are in a monogamous relationship. Little do they all know, the man they are involved with is a polygamous man, who not only cheats in love but also cheats companies out of money. The three women must not only exact revenge but also bring the man under fire. First off, it’s hard to believe that the women involved would come together and work together to accomplish what they need to do. It’s entertaining and at times, funny. The filmmakers made the man as unlikable as they could – but really, how unlikable could Coster-Waldau be. I almost felt bad for him. The soundtrack is amazing. You definitely need to hold onto a suspension of disbelief to enjoy the film, making it worth a watch.
