Christmas Comes Home to Canaan (2011) Rated TV-G

Daniel’s son gets hit by a car and is sent to physical therapy, but along the way, the therapist and Daniel fall in love. Starring Billy Ray Cyrus, Gina Holden, and Emily Tennant.

This Christmas film tries to go deeper than just a Christmas romance. The story has a deeper meaning about money and gift-giving during the holiday season. There are multiple storylines, but only one seems to be resolved by the end. The actors are ok, but they aren’t the best. It’s a typical Christmas romance, so it has the fluff parts to carry it along. In my opinion, most of the film seems forced, which makes it hard to just enjoy. Thus, the film is not worth a watch.
