Daddy’s Home (2015) Rated PG-13

A stepdad tries to get his stepchildren to love him, but when their biological dad shows up, his plans are turned upside down. Starring Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, and Linda Cardellini.

I actually didn’t think this movie was too bad. They got the blended family part down, and the comedy of the film wasn’t too bad either. I also thought Will Ferrell was excellent in this; I’ve never been much of a fan of him due to his type of comedic chops. The chemistry between the two dads is just a brilliant love/hate relationship. I really love the fact that this film is about family and what is important…the family. To me, that is what brings this film home – that the two fathers may not like each other, but they get along for the kids. This film is worth a watch.
