Swamp Shark (2011) Rated R

An animal smuggling ring goes wrong when a shark gets lost in a swamp. Starring Christopher Berry, Wade Boggs, and Marcus Lyle Brown.

Surprisingly, this film is not as cheesy as you would expect it to be. The script isn’t bad, but it had its moments of being unbelievable. The CGI effects are what the budget would be on a TV movie. The actors are good, however, and not too cheesy as their characters face unusual problems. I appreciate that the filmmakers tried not to be too cheesy while also keeping the story from becoming too serious. It’s a great mix that works well together. Although, I still found the film too unbelievable to make it worth a watch – so, it’s not worth the watch.
