This show reframes the life and legacy of Marilyn Monroe. Starring Mira Sorvino, Ellen Burstyn, and Amber Tamblyn. 

This show talks about reframing what we know about Marilyn. The talking heads are mostly actors, and I question their knowledge about Marilyn. They basically reiterate everything we already know about Marilyn but presume they know what she was thinking. They did use vocal interviews of Marilyn and others that have known her to help give context to her life. While it’s interesting going down memory lane of Monroe’s life in all its complexity, I’m just not sure about the understanding of who Monroe really was. It’s interesting, and knowing that she wasn’t just a blonde bombshell makes the series worth a watch.
