X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) Rated PG-13

The X-Men send Wolverine into the past in order to right an event that is tragic for both humans and mutants. Starring Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, and Michael Fassbender.

This film combines both the older X-Men with the younger cast. It’s a passing of the torch per say. It’s also a way to reboot the franchise with a new timeline. It was enjoyable to see the old crew back, even just for a cameo. While the actors were great to see, the film does bring back the classic X-Men storytelling, especially since Bryan Singer directs this film as he did with the first two. The script was pretty good, but I did question the continuity at times. This film carries on the franchise, making it worth a watch.
