Based on the book by Ben Macintyre about the creation of the Special Forces unit. Starring Connor Swindells, Jack O’Connell, and Jacob Ifan. 

While the miniseries entertains and tells the story of Britain trying to hold onto Africa during WWII, it tends to be chaotic in its storytelling. It’s great at bringing to life an era that is almost forgotten, but it isn’t realistic in its characters. The characters seem larger than life with a great sense of humor. It’s a very fictional take on history. That’s the main problem with the series. Although it has its issues, the series is still entertaining enough to be worth the watch.
