This movie could be somewhat confusing. The story was at times choppy and perplexing. The special effects were either good or bad, depending on the scene. The one thing I did enjoy about this movie was where I believe the director was trying to go. Toorop is a mercenary in a post-apocalyptic world and he agrees to carry a package from Russia to the US. What he doesn’t know and what I think the writer was trying to convey is that the package is the savior of the world. Although, this is what I took from the film I can’t say for sure that this is what the director and writer was trying to say. This film is also based from a book, Babylon Babies by Maurice Dantec. I haven’t read the book which might make more sense than the film. You can decide which format is better for the understanding of the story.
