Colleen (1936)

Rated NR

The Ames Company makes every effort to keep Uncle Cedric away from any decisions or work. Trouble starts when Cedric hires a personal assistant and a young woman who loves fashion. He buys the woman a dress shop with Colleen as the bookkeeper and that’s just the start.

What can I tell you about this film? Not much. Since I watched the film I don’t remember much about it. That’s how bland it was. The musical numbers are forgettable. The acting didn’t grab me. The story left me unfilled. I wouldn’t say don’t watch it but I wouldn’t say it a must see.
