A tough U.S. Marshal helps a stubborn young woman track down her father’s murderer.
This remake of the 1969 version is almost as good. The Coens’ did a wonderful job with cinematography by Roger Deakins in the film. It looks authentic and sounds authentic. The best part was the soundtrack. It had me humming a long. Not literally. I just really enjoyed the choice of music and the usage of it was amazing. It really brought out the story and the feel of the era. The only downfall was Matt Damon’s performance, at times he could be quite annoying but overall performances by everyone was excellent. It’s one of the best this year.
