Trust (2010)

Rated R

A teenage girl is targeted by an online predator. Starring Clive Owen, Catherine Keener, Liana Liberato, Jason Clarke, Viola Davis

Unbelievable. David Schwimmer.  He has become an amazing director. I’ve seen his first film Run Fatboy Run which was fun and enjoyable to watch and now he has flipped the coin and gone serious for a serious problem. Telling a truthful story about what is going on with online predators. Liana Liberato blew me away with her portrayal of a teenage girl who befriends a “young man” on the internet but learns the hard way that not everything on the internet is the truth. Just amazing. All the actors were amazing, Clive Owen and Catherine Keener, as the parents and Chris Henry Coffey as the “young man” gave an eerie performance.  You shouldn’t miss this film.
