A Serious Man (2009)

Rated R

A Midwestern professor’s life begins to unravel through multiple events. Starring Michael Stuhlbarg, Richard Kind, Fred Melamed

I’m surprise that this film is renowned as much as it is but then again I’m not that surprised. I just wasn’t feeling this movie. I’m not exactly a fan of the Coen brothers though I do try. Maybe it’s the time period and maybe it’s the Jewishness of the film,  I just couldn’t get into this man’s world falling apart. Maybe you’ll have better luck in enjoying  this film than me.

Totally agree, I felt like not being Jewish was a massive disability in enjoying and understanding this. And the opening, WTF was that about?!??!
