The Letter Writer (2011) Rated NR

Letter writerA teenage girl dealing with the growing pains of life receives a mysterious letter in the mail. She goes on the hunt to discover who sent it and learns a lesson in life. Starring Aley Underwood, Bernie Diamond, Pam Eichner

I rather enjoyed this film. Yes, it’s a bit of sweetness and it smooths over the roughness of life but the actors were perfect for their roles. I especially loved watching Bernie Diamond, who I was sad to hear that he passed away after this film. I think this film is watchable even though it is a low-budget sweet film, the message of the film is what makes it a gem. The girl learns to look at the world around her than herself and what joy she gives others. It’s a wonderful film and worth a watch.
