The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2013) Rated PG-13

incredible burt wonderstoneA magician who performs a show that’s stale must improve for a younger audience. Starring Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde, Jim Carrey, James Gandolfini, Alan Arkin, Jay Mohr

When I watched the trailer to this film, I thought, “This film is going to be so stupid”. This isn’t going to be funny. Well, I wouldn’t say this is the best film on the market or that this is a must see. I don’t think it’s either. It is however, not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It’s not roll on the floor laughing but it is entertaining and it has a message to boot. That friends are there for you and that fame and fortune isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. I would say this is a surprisingly watchable film.
