This film is very much like the film Deck the Halls back in 2006, but this one has the added twist of the neighbors being old friends which I thought made it more interesting.  In addition, there is a bit of Romeo and Juliet developing between their children. Overall, it is cute, even funny at times, but ultimately, forgettable.  A poor imitation of Deck the Halls, I would say it is a pass.
