On the Twelfth Day of Christmas (2015) Rated TV-G

on the twelfth day of christmasMaggie’s college crush has moved back to town. Once she discovers he has lost the Christmas spirit, she sends him a gift for the twelve days of Christmas. Starring Brooke Nevin, Robin Dunne, Dani Kind.

When I started watching this film, I wondered why she needed to help him recapture his Christmas spirit since he seemed just fine to me.  It took me awhile to realize that there was a time jump between 2005 and 2015.  It was hard to distinguish one from the other, especially since they always had her with a smart phone in hand, taking selfies (which came out in 2007 and 2010 respectively).  Despite the confusion over what year they were in at any given time, the movie was still enjoyable.  It fits the standard Hallmark Christmas model.  It is worth a watch.
