I had such high hopes for this show, having been a fan of the 1987 version, but I was disappointed. For one, I couldn’t feel the chemistry between the two characters. To make matters worse, I couldn’t figure out where they were going with this show. I don’t think they had any idea what the original show was like, and they failed to transform the beast into more of a hero than a beast.  I wish they had done a better job, but it is a pass for me.
