This miniseries reveals how unforgiving the seventh continent, Antarctica, is. It uncovers the scientific research behind the inner workings of this harsh continent and focuses on the happenings at New Zealand’s Scott Base in Antarctica, where provisions are made for the people coming and going on the continent. I was curious to know how warm they kept the buildings there. Where I live, it can reach -20 degrees, and I hold my temperature at a steady 72 degrees. But, at Scott Base, how do they heat their buildings? I enjoyed the show and found it interesting, but I’m not sure it is really worth a watch. So, I’m going to say it’s a pass.
