Stuck Between Stations (2011) Rated R

Former high school classmates meet up again during a night of partying. Starring Sam Rosen, Zoe Lister-Jones, Michael Imperioli, Josh Hartnett.

This film may have been a labor of love, but love isn’t enough to salvage this meandering film. In it, a group of 20-somethings reconnect after graduation, and the film follows them throughout the night and into the morning. The dialogue is unoriginal and does nothing to further the story. It is like watching someone’s mundane everyday life, with no highlights.  There are so many better films about people reconnecting and discussing life. If this one had even tried to be more philosophical or meaningful in any way, it may have shown more promise. As it stands, it is a pass.
