Wreck-It Ralph (2012) Rated PG

A video game villain looks for ways to become the hero. Starring John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, Alan Tudyk, Mindy Kaling, Ed O’Neill, Dennis Haysbert.

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. I wondered what Disney would do with a video game story line. Here we have a video game villain who longs to be the hero, but the fact of life is we all have a place in the world, and we should be who we need to be to help the world go around. The animation is brilliant with vibrant colors and changing arcade games. The characters bring this world to life, thanks to the actors portraying the voices. This is one of Disney’s best films and is well worth a watch.
