The Hunters (2013) Rated PG

A family of archaeologists tracks down artifacts from fairy tales around the world. Starring Victor Garber, Michelle Forbes, and Alexa PenaVega.

This show is very similar to The Librarians series except for the subplots. For the most part, the film is mediocre. There isn’t anything that makes it stand out, and it’s a story that’s been done before. Not only is it like The Librarians series but it’s also very similar to 10th Kingdom. The film, made by Christian-based company Walden Media, delivers great moral messages, but the storylines are confusing. As Wal-Mart sponsors it, there are open adds throughout the film for the store. It’s enjoyable to watch, but it’s not one I would re-watch, making it not worth a watch.
