A grown Christopher Robin encounters his childhood friend, Winnie-the-Pooh, who helps him relearn the joys of life. Starring Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, and Bronte Carmichael.
I was hoping this would be a film that would deliver the true story of Christopher Robin – maybe with him being older and needing to touch base with his childhood, but still the quintessential story of the real Christopher Robin. There is nothing about this film that tells the real story of Christopher Robin. For starters, Christopher Robin is his first and middle name; Robin is not the family’s last name, but everyone calls him Mr. Robin. Although, the animated characters were brought to life and also bring Mr. Robin back to life as well. The film is a disappointment in the historical fact of the real Christopher Robin but enjoyable with the story of the characters from the books. This film is one that is worth the watch for the characters.
