RoboCop (1987) Rated R

In the distant future, in a dystopian and crime-ridden Detroit, an injured cop returns to the force as a cyborg. Starring Peter Weller, Nancy Allen, and Dan O’Herlihy.

This is a great sci-fi movie. We have a future world that is racked with crime, violence, and poverty, and when a good cop is downed by a group of criminals, the government brings him back to life as a cyborg. Now, Alex Murphy (Robocop) must relearn who he is and the criminals that brought him down. Weller, Robocop, brings the action and the sexy to the character as he fights to remember who he is. This action film shows it’s age, but it does entertain with a great story that holds together. This is a film that is worth a watch.
