Finding Normal (2013) Rated NR

Dr. Lisa Leland is on her way to a wedding when she runs into the law in small town, Normal, N.C.  When she has a decision to make, jail or community service, she opts for community service. She is sentenced to three days of being the town doctor and meets a man she never expected. Starring Lou Beatty Jr., Andrew Bongiorno, Valerie Lynn Brett, Candace Cameron Bure, and Trevor St. John.

This is one of those typical TV romance movies. Although, I have to say it’s about as unrealistic as they come. We have a woman on the way to her wedding, literally, and she is so busy that she just doesn’t have time for traffic tickets. So, when she gets stopped in small town America, she is sentenced to community service for three days, just enough time to fall in love with the local guy. That’s amazing. It’s also amazing that the film is not better written. I mean, it’s 2013 and you can’t find a way to pay those tickets with a credit card? It’s a cute film and enjoyable to watch – just too much in left field for it to be clever. It’s not worth a watch.
